Happy New Year!!! It’s a bit late, but I’ve been busy working, so it’s all good. As soon as the new year came in, I was asked by a client to produce more portraits for their newsletters. Whilst producing them, I thought I would use one to show you a bit of the behind-the-scenes process of how I digitally colour, from pencils to final, I’ve annotated each stage with what I did. This design is my own and is separate to the portraits I was working on.

At the colour preparation stage, I experimented with different colour schemes which is always fun.
